Description:

A Huron belt with black letters VIRGIN IMMAC HVRD D on white background. Beauchamp stated "this has been figured in Gallerie Americaine du musee ethnogrphhie du Trocadero, with three others.

This ecclesiastical belt was sent by the Huron-Wendat mission of Lorette, present Wendake, to the cathedral of Nortre-Dame, Charles in 1678.
